Marketing Activation Specialist

The ICD is seeking a Marketing Activation Specialist to contribute to the organizations needs in achieving education sales goals and business event activity. Reporting to a Director, this role is responsible for initiating and supporting marketing programs, and working in a team-based environment, for the successful implementation.

Principle accountabilities for this role are:
  • Working with key stakeholders to determine clear and aligned project briefs
  • In concert with key stakeholders, develop the marketing activation program and key messages – this may entail print graphics, digital graphics, email communication, direct mail content and website content
  • Develop a project timeline and work with key parties, including outside vendors, to deliver project in full and in-line with brand standards
  • Ensuring projects are administered within budgets and agreed timelines
  • Monitor progress of campaigns based on objectives, agreed performance indicators and recommend appropriate actions where necessary
  • Support ad-hoc tasks in addition to primary role, as required
  • This role requires business/marketing degree and a minimum of 2 years marketing experience, with preference to B2B. Demonstration of creativity, collaborative work style, ability to manage multiple priorities, strong project management, good writing skills and an understanding of marketing analytics are vital to success in this role.
