How to get on Boards (Kelowna)

The need for qualified directors has never been higher and the pool of talent has never been larger. Why, then, can it be so difficult for new directors to get on a corporate board? Come and hear from our panel of experienced professionals and directors on how to get on boards.  Also, they will offer the perspective of Nominating Committee members and a recruiter as to what they look for when seeking new directors and the do's and don'ts for candidates.
Following the breakfast session, Sheldon Mahabir and Heather Wilson from the Institute of Corporate Directors, will lead a complimentary workshop to help attendees learn:

- How to get on a Board of Directors; where to go, what to do, and what you need
- How to go about a search and the process needed to seek board opportunities
- How to build your director’s profile
- How to write a compelling resume
To register for this workshop, please email and bring your resume to breakfast.
