NFP Board Priorities: 2023 and Beyond
Organizations in the not-for-profit sector continue to feel the impacts of persistent geopolitical issues and the societal and economic changes driven by the pandemic.
Human and funding resources are becoming increasingly scarce, and we have made necessary changes to the operating models for our NFPs, significantly changing service delivery. NFP governance, including transparency and accountability, is in the spotlight, including the need to calibrate the board's role in operations. The ICD's GTA Chapter is delivering a program/session that will identify and give shape to the critical issues in NFP governance today, including:

- Re-examining the visions and missions of our NFPs
- Considering collaboration and mergers
- Geopolitical and economic recession concerns
- Staffing, both paid and volunteer
- Organizational Accountability and Board responsibility, including standards of business conduct and reputational risk

Cancellations must be received in writing 48 hrs prior to the date of the event to be eligible for a full refund.
If you register for an event and do not attend, you are liable for the full event fee. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else. However, please note that should your replacement have a different membership status and there is a price differential, you will be either credited or charged the balance.
