The Board's Role in Cultivating a Respectful Workplace
Sometimes there is no checklist.
This Director Dilemma event will focus on the important issue of bullying, sports culture, and the role boards can play in maintaining a healthy workplace culture. Bullying, harassment, or inappropriate behaviours may be pervasive problems within an organization, but they can also fly under the radar. Using a case study, attendees will debate and discuss possible actions that the board could take to avert a crisis. This session will offer insights and perspectives on the issues raised in case study and, more generally, on the board’s role in maintaining a healthy workplace culture and preventing workplace harassment.
